Manny's Uptown Tex-mex - Southlake

My wife and I were in the area to pick up our child and found ourselves with an hour to spare. Since we don't visit Grapevine often, we decided to drive around and stumbled upon this restaurant, which looked inviting. We were delighted with our entire experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, and there was plenty of space between tables. Our waiter, Carlos, truly enhanced our experience; he was attentive and patient without being intrusive, showing a great level of professionalism. The food was delicious! We ordered quesadillas, which were perfect, and I had the brisket, which was the best I've ever tasted. We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend this place!

I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I must say the crispy chicken tacos were absolutely delicious! However, I did have a bit of difficulty ordering a bean and cheese taco on a flour tortilla, and unfortunately, the flavor was quite similar to the other tacos. My husband mentioned that the salsa had a strong cilantro flavor, though it did pack a bit of a spicy punch, which I personally enjoyed. We did find that we needed to add just a touch of salt to enhance the overall taste. Those were the only dishes I tried, but the menu had plenty of appealing options. I will definitely return for the crispy tacos and encourage you to sample more items from the menu. I'm planning to go back next week, so hopefully, I can update this review afterward.

My wife and I decided to stop in for lunch on a whim after picking up some new shoes nearby. We ordered a bowl of queso, and let me tell you, it was quite a generous portion! The flavor was good, though not outstanding, and there was so much that we barely finished it. It would easily serve four people. The chips were of high quality, and our meals were very enjoyable. I had the best chicken enchilada I've had in quite a while. Normally, I'm not a fan of sour cream-based sauces on chicken enchiladas, but this one was exceptional. The only downside was that my Dr. Pepper was flat, but we switched to Cokes after that, and they were just fine. I doubt the soda issue is a common occurrence. Overall, we will definitely return when we're shopping in the area again.

I organized my daughter's celebration, and it was absolutely fantastic. The service was exceptional, and the food was delicious. We had around 30 guests for dinner, and Jorge collaborated with me to ensure that my daughter's dinner was truly special. The atmosphere was also delightful, with beautiful pendant lights and vibrant artwork on the walls. It was perfect.

It's a budget-friendly, family-style restaurant, but some of the dishes were disappointing.
