The North Fork Shack - Southold

This is a great rural farm-to-table restaurant with occasional outdoor music. There is some outdoor seating and a diverse selection of menu options. It's a cool spot to check out. Be sure to take a look at the specials menu near the counter.

Food and service were phenomenal. I always stop at sparkling pointe but decided to have lunch out here. I ordered almost everything thing and it was all good. Clam chowder, chicken sandwich, fish sandwich, fish tacos, steak tacos, and chicken tacos were delicious!!!! Worth the drive to come out here!

The restaurant has a pleasant outdoor area with some shade, as well as a few indoor tables. Although the wedge salad wasn't served in the traditional wedge shape, it was still delicious, particularly the bacon and cashew toppings. I liked that you could order tacos individually; the beef taco was slightly lacking in seasoning but tasted better with a bit of salt.

This very humble appearing building is serving some of the most incredible tastes. The Lamb on Pita was completely amazing. The best chicken sandwich I have had.

I tried the SLT at this restaurant, which was described as containing crispy shiitake mushrooms, lettuce, and tomato with garlic-lemon aioli. The wrap was tasty, but the mushrooms were not crispy and there was hardly any avocado in it. On the bright side, the margaritas were excellent.
