Blue Cow Grille - Southport

This restaurant has it all. After spending a few days in Oak Island and Southport, I can confidently say it's one of the best places we've visited. I ordered a cheeseburger topped with bacon and a fried egg, and it was simply amazing. My wife tried the missile tacos, and we were both impressed with the gluten-free bread—it was delicious! Our server was not only very knowledgeable about food allergies but also extremely friendly. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

The food was outstanding! We arrived for an early dinner at 5:00 PM, and although the restaurant was busy, they called us when our table was ready. While waiting, we strolled around the nearby shops. The only downside to this place is that it can be quite hot inside, and it is pretty small—there are only about eight tables for four, plus three outside. Therefore, it's not the best spot for larger groups. The service was adequate. Overall, we plan to return and will add this to our regular dining spots for lunch or dinner. I had a burger with homemade chips, which were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. My daughter ordered the tacos, and they were exceptionally good (I couldn't resist tasting hers). My husband tried the buffalo tacos, which were also delicious. Our son had chicken tenders, and he enjoyed them as well.

We had a fantastic dining experience! For starters, we tried the onion rings and roasted green tomatoes, both of which were delicious. This time, we ordered cheeseburgers, but we’re looking forward to trying other menu items on our next visit. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and the food was excellent. Thank you!

A small restaurant in the main area of Southport. Apparently busy every time of the year, loved by locals and tourists alike. Very large sandwiches and filled to the cremps. Flavorful and satisfying. Worth a stop.

Fantastic food, staff, safe! With limited space the Blue Cow Grille makes you still feel safe to dine in. The food was amazing coming out hot fresh and some of the most tasty food we have had in all of Southport! Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner!
