12 of us visited this lovely pub as part of my Mothers 80th Birthday celebrations. What a great find. Food was delicious and reasonably priced and lovely, attentive staff. The Vernon is a great pub, the staff are all lovely and very helpful. There is a good variety on the menu, quite reasonable. I really cannot fault this pub in any way. Roaring fire in main room . 10/10 in my books.
