Airstream Cafe - Southwark

I ordered a hot chocolate, a hotdog, and chips at the restaurant. Unfortunately, they forgot to include my hotdog and chips in the order. When I informed them that I did not want to wait for a new one to be cooked after already waiting for 15 minutes, they refused to refund my money. The staff were quite rude. When I finally received the hotdog, it was inedible and I had to throw it in the bin.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for ice cream and donuts with a wide variety of flavors available. I tried one of their ice cream sundaes, which was absolutely delicious, and then sampled their donuts, which were just as tasty as they smelled. There's just something irresistible about hot, fresh donuts that I can never refuse. The staff was helpful and polite, with one individual in particular making sure you felt relaxed despite the busy atmosphere. They were efficient and attentive to cleanliness. I will definitely be returning to this spot next time I'm in London. Overall, a big thumbs up from me!

Walking along the South Bank From Waterloo To Blackfriars stations, I came across the welcome sight of the Airstream Cafe. With a few minutes to spare, it was just in the right place and at the right time. Friendly service and good coffee. From the advertising boards a good range of items are offered and whilst it was not the time to sit and watch, the views are tremendous.

Very Very Very Rude Staff working in that place! Zero customer service, you might think you are asking them for a favour by buying from them. Very grumpy and rude, the staff have no clue how to talk to customers, they just want to get the customers out of their face. If the owner of this place reads this he should sack the three people who worked the Saturday afternoon shift specifically the tall English guy with short black hair. If the owner does not give a carrot about reviews then I will keep writing about this terrible place, on every available platform. When I questioned something as simple as the price of an ice cream with or without a flake, this rude man sarcastically replied with a straight serious annoyed face as If I crossed the line into his realms of racist ice cream knowledge: In England people have their ice cream with flakes And believe it or not; he then placed the flakes separately on the service counter in front of me, as if he was offended and wouldn 't want to have anything to do with my ice cream any more! I left the place wondering how people with ZERO customer service are in the CUSTOMER SERVICE business, dealing with all sort of tourists, families, children. And they have THAT disgusting attitude! Later on I realised they didn 't even give me back the change from £10 I paid, so dishonest too! Avoid like the Plague!

Now that summer 2012 has finally arrived in London, the best Thameside seat in town can be found at the Airstream Cafe. This burger bar, resembling a silver bullet or perhaps a sewing machine bobbin, offers excellent chips and a bottle of water for just five pounds. Located between Waterloo and Blackfriars Bridges, it is the perfect place to stop for a meal while on a South Bank pub crawl. The views from the cafe are far superior to many of the nearby pubs, with the late summer sun casting a beautiful glow on St Paul's and the rooftops of the City across the river. Who needs Paris or Rome when you can enjoy such stunning vistas in London?
