The heart, or the east dulwich crèche, as it is known before place, is another one of those slightly grote south-east Idonian pubs that tarted on a customs of its grubby (read authentic) living.
This pub makes a great task to get the balance between the families of the middle class who want a meal and the traditional drinker just a pint. they have held pints around the £5 brand that is fair and reasonable compared to almost all other pubs in the opposite, the greedy and fees over £6. so fair game for them not to be greedy! I am more than happy to sip here in the garden a sunny afternoon and make me a little care. nicer.
After a little slow service, which was not a particularly midday time, eating was great. huge portions. we asked for the Sunday dinner of a child for my mother and it was more than sufficient for a normal part. the staff was polite and helpful.
Choice of three real ales on the hand pump. only to stop for one at this opportunity, sad, but they all saw in excellent condition. disguised bar clean and tidy with quirky vintage decorations. good space free when the weather is warmer (not yet!
