Cafe Del Rio - Spanish Fort

For Baldwin County, this place is decently good if you're itching for Mexican. I wasn't a big fan of the beef (a bit bland)but the family said the chicken was really good. Maybe worth a try if you're close.

The food wasn't the worst we've had, but it was far from the greatest. The service was pretty good; our server, Lindsay was sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was mediocre. There weren't too many other diners when we went, but the atmosphere seemed kinda stiff.

When my friend and I got there at 11;30 it appeared that the restaurant was closed. We were seated but did not see any other patrons in the dining room. Service was slow and the food came out cold. While we were there only 8 other people came in to be served. No wonder that during lunch hour (11:30-12:15) there were only 7 cars in the parking lot.

The restaurants that have survived the epidemic have very fresh dishes, either greasy and heavy flavors, or the equipment is old, and they may not be able to renovate them. I like and add 5 stars to their dishes. The price is very close to the people,They really have good cooking skills and a good service attitude. I'm afraid they will close down, because after the epidemic, there are not many visitors, because their decoration is a bit outdated and old, but this is definitely It is a place suitable for the whole family to dine together. The price is very cheap, and the ingredients are very fresh. The attitude of the service staff is also very polite and enthusiastic. We had a large group of people who came here to eat. Boy were we surprised, we had a limited menu and a limited drink menu. Well when we were told to write our name on the paper menu so they could make sure they got it right, we’ll a hour and half later when the food started coming out, no one got what they ordered. My food was last to come out and I was one of the first to order. I had mystery meat and it was cold. I have been here two times, first and last time. My thoughts are, I have 20$ just bring me whatever you want me to have, because that’s what is going to happen when you eat at CAFE DEL RIO.
