Maliwans Thai Kitchen - Sparta

I placed my order as soon as I arrived at the restaurant, but I was disappointed after waiting at least 45 minutes for my meal to be delivered (even though the restaurant was empty). The dumplings were difficult to chew and the beef dish was overly tough. However, the flavors were delicious and I am willing to give this restaurant another chance. The staff members were very friendly.

This restaurant is incredible! The fried tofu was exceptional, and the pineapple was the best I've ever had. This place serves authentic Thai cuisine in Sparta.

What a disappointment! I checked the restaurant's website which indicated they would be open at 11:30 a.m., but when I arrived at 12:30 p.m., the door was still closed and there was a sign saying they were closed. Very disappointing experience.

Authentic, fresh and tasty new thai restaurant in sparta. the dumplings had a delicate, thin teig and were packed with a very generous chicken and pork filling. the curry buffers were perfectly fluffy and crispy (not fat at all we tried the chicken pad thai and loved it. the owners were friendly and friendly and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. great place to take for date night or family! ask for the work of art!

Had lunch there today with friends passing through. In NYC, it would be 3-4 stars, but here it's a solid 5. I had my test dish green curry with chicken. Very good, with a slight but pleasant twist to the spices. (I just realized the difference the green curry sauce was light on the coconut milk. For which My heart is grateful My buddy had the red curry, and also rated it highly. The portions, too, are larger than provided at the Thai places in Newton.Note that it is not a fancy spot. Many of the seats are old church pews, and all of the furniture is hard wood. And the dining room is only separated by a glass wall from the bowling alley.And, a warning for gourmands : i think the rice was short grain American rice, not Thai Jasmine rice.I'll definitely be back.
