Rosa's Bbq - Spartanburg County

Ordered the family chicken, and it took over 1 hour. Chicken came covered with a spicy sauce that I was not aware of. They should put it on their menu. Plantains were very hard too. They should have more than 1 person cooking, they were very behind with their orders. The yellow rice was good. I would not go back.

Amazing quality and amount of food! The meat is marinated and cooked to perfection. The veggies are fresh and seasoned perfectly.I highly recommend the steak with yellow rice and black beans. If you can't finish the meal, take it to go for a second meal time! It's worth every penny.Every time I walk in the owner is here working hard and welcomes me with open arms. When you're here, you're family.Lastly, there's something here for every age group. My children love the fries and yellow rice.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid friendly foods packed with protein and good carbs to keep them full and happy!

Rosa is super sweet!!!!! The food is amazing and she didn't get upset when I mentioned my food allergies to pork. The store is clean and bright. I got the beef ribs with yellow rice and tostones. It's all great flavor and made very well.

Lovely locally owned restaurant. It's a different take on BBQ. I would consider it Mexican and Cuban inspired.I had the grilled chicken breast platter with yellow rice and maduros. Chicken is flattened so it is huge on the plate. Tasty sauce. Rice has bit of veggies. Looks like fried rice but it's not. Much tastier. Maduros is like plantains. Slightly sweet. I saved mine for last.We also had the salad with steak. Steak is also flattened with a nice flavor. The avocado dressing was tasty.They don't serve traditional sweet or unsweet tea so try the Tamarindo. Make from the tamarind fruit. Nice change up to our southern sweet tea.The team there is very friendly. They make suggestions on meals if you need help. Service on point. Restaurant is VERY clean.We will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking and relatively easy access to sidewalk. No steps going from sidewalk to restaurant.
