Sugar-n-spice - Spartanburg

The fries were crispy and fresh, the cheese was fantastic, but the chili was a bit on the sweet side. I plan to return to try more items from the menu, but I prefer takeout since it was really crowded.

When I reached out to the owner about the high prices, I received a rather snarky response about rising costs, as if I wasn't already aware. He went on to lament about employee wages, which isn’t my concern—it's his responsibility. If he keeps passing those costs onto customers, he might find himself needing to lay off staff instead of paying high wages. Given this experience, I won’t be returning. The owner comes across as unprofessional and dismissive.

The food was acceptable but lacked flavor. Our pie was partially frozen, which was disappointing. I expected a themed interior based on the attractive awning, but instead, it felt quite dull and in need of an update. The man who took our order seemed disinterested and wasn’t very friendly. Overall, I wouldn’t return.

Good but not great. Carried a customer there for him to experience this landmark of a restaurant. Older gentleman in the back was constantly looking really mean at us. LOL, Guess we stayed too long. I 'll go back at some point but will do Takeout !

First they rush me to order i can't even try to order comfortable and there was no one else behind us it was only me and my family second you still have to repeat what u ordered at the lady at the cashier dam owner still putting his big ear to hear if i said everything right well gosh make a receipt and you won't have to stand there and hear if i said everything right like you might be losing a $1 second i guess they don't like people from other race because it felt very uncomfortable eating and all eyes looking at you never again
