Brewski's - Spencerport

Brewskis has permanently closed and is currently for sale. Many disappointed friends are searching for new dining options tonight.

The wait staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel valued, especially since there are many places to choose from for a fish fry; they seemed genuinely pleased that we chose them. All the employees were wearing masks, and the tables were well-spaced to ensure safety. There were hand sanitizer stations at the entrance for our convenience, too. The menu is extensive, so if fish isn’t what you're in the mood for, you'll find plenty of other choices. The owner even came around to check on our satisfaction, which was a nice touch; it’s great to feel appreciated as a customer. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available. Don't miss the chance to visit Brewskies—you definitely won’t regret it!

It's been at least three years since my last visit to Brewskis, and I must say, the food used to be fantastic. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. The quality and portion sizes have clearly declined since the ownership changed hands over the years. It's disappointing, especially since we had spent our short drive there raving about how amazing some of the dishes used to be. The bar also seemed noticeably lifeless compared to the lively atmosphere we remembered from our previous visits. The popcorn was stale, the dart machine was unplugged, and the scratch-off ticket machine was out of order. What a letdown! On the bright side, they did have Big Ditch beer on tap, which was a pleasant surprise!

The food was good. The waitress was cranky and ordered a round of drinks for our entire party and walked away without asking anyone or waiting to hear if we wanted them. Totally understand that, but then the owner came over made all sorts of excuses and didn't seem to want to drop the subject because or wouldn't end when we sent a drink back that we didn't order or want and then even started asking our table what we were talking about after that. . Won't go back.

Waited 10 minutes for the bar tender to acknowledge us to get drinks and menus, there were only 10 people inside on a Tuesday at 130pm. She's too busy conversations with friends to realize that there are customers waiting to be served. A suggestion; hire a bartender and waitress for the lunch crowd or hire bartenders who actually do their jobs. I come here when I'm visiting out of town and today's visit was an absolute disappointment.
