Eating was good carmen was rude, she beat the waiting list before me to write our name without saying a word. the coffee never refilled or asked how it was eating. have never been treated so rudely. will not be back. I didn't appreciate the attitude.

Live on a Sunday morning, but don't wait long. traditional diner eating, we ordered pancakes, french toast, farmer’s skillet all tasty. service was fast and friendly. even a discount for the payment with cash.

Recently visited Spirit Lake for the first time and twice went to Breakfast Barn for breakfast. First time was a Sunday brunch and we had to wait. We chose to wait in the bowling alley but didn't have to wait long for our table to be ready. Second visit was a weekday and we were immediately seated. Food was excellent as was the service. Blueberry waffles and pancakes were delicious! You definitely won't go hungry here. This appears to be a place where many locals meet, as well as visitors to the area.
