Novecento - SPOLETO

As other reviews (mine included on Nove Cento listing) have said this is just an outstanding place. Good quality, creative recipes, clean and very well priced.

Heard about this place from our host who said that a lot of locals go there because of the quality and pricing. So we stopped in for lunch one day and it was so good we went back three more times over the next couple of weeks. In addition to the antipasti (outstanding and abundant) we tried several of the pasta and a couple of the meat dishes and they were all first rate. Always had the red house wine by the carafe (I think it's a Montefalco) and was very pleasantly surprised at the pricing far lower than most places we encountered on in either Umbria or Tuscany. Located in the lower town just a bit up from the Piazza Garibaldi it's enough off the regular tourist track to where you feel like you're in....well, Italy. And not that far from the Parcheggio Posterna so the escalator can get you down and back up if you're focused on the old upper town.

This was our groups fave eating spot during our 2 week stay in Spoleto. Awesome food, great staff and at a reasonable price. Andrea, the owner was wonderful too.

Il disegno di legge per niente caro. sicuramente da provare.

Posto bello e accogliente. personale molto gentile e disponibile. cibo delizioso. Abbiamo ordinato un tagliere un piatto di stranglings a carbonara con carciofi fritti, uno dei pad con ricotta, guance e pecorino e pasta di salsa per bambini. tutto davvero fantastico. piatti abbondanti. Lo consiglio vivamente.
