Papa Amadeos - Spring

I enjoy the food and the staff. I've eaten at least 10 times here and it's always excellent. Great surroundings too.

The other 5 star reviews are 100% in my opinion. Food was excellent, waitress was excellent and I'll be back. It's nice to go somewhere and they appreciate your business. The waitress really wanted us to be satisfied and love your food

We got the 70 here. celebrated my father's birthday and didn't ask for a better place. Everything was right. We made a reservation for a Saturday night. The menu is not overpriced, but everyone said each of their dishes were wonderful. I ordered steak and potatoes. I guess they only have house wines. They don't mess with the chic stuff. It makes it easy to order. Our waitress was sweet and timely and often checked us, but not too much. They brought delicious garlic knot rolls to start, and they have a good selection of Italian desserts to complete it. The live music was also a big highlight. The actor had a wide selection of songs he sang, and my parents danced a few times. He also invited her back at the end of the evening to dance? Faniculi, Fanicula.? We had a wonderful time. We will tell everyone we know about this wonderful restaurant!

We had a wonderful first experience in Papa Amadeos! It is a great small family restaurant with amazing ambience. Everything was made fresh as you ordered with an open kitchen so you could see the cooking work. The aromas were exceptional; we recommend you try it for yourself. The staff is polite and friendly. We really do not feel that we have the words to adequately describe the quality of the flavors we had the pleasure of enjoying!

After looking around for a place for our anniversary dinner, we decided to try Papa Amadeos. My husband is the at-home cook and I?m the professional taste tester for his fine cooking. Most times when we eat out, one of us usually ends up saying ?your version is so much better.? But OMG!! Papa Amadeus is amazing. Their fresh baked bread was warm and delicious and I LOVED the dipping sauce. We had house salads and the dressing was really nice (although next time I will ask for the dressing on the side as I prefer a minimal amount). My husband ordered the special ? red snapper with almond crust served over a bed of spinach with a mango sauce. It was divine. Fish was perfectly cooked and the flavor was wonderful. I had the linguine with mussels (minus the red pepper flakes because they kill me) with a light and bright lemony cream sauce. TO DIE FOR!!! Even though we were stuffed, we wanted dessert!! I had the cannoli and my had a piece of limoncello cake. They were both awesome. The chef came and said hello to us when we got to our table. Our server and the sweet fellow who kept our water glasses filled were both lovely. We couldn?t have asked for a better anniversary dinner. Support your local mom and pop businesses because they are real gems.
