Pho An Sushi 2 - Spring

I regret to say that the service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I had high hopes based on previous reviews, but with only four tables occupied and two servers on duty, it took ten minutes just to receive a glass of water. When my food finally arrived, I was dismayed to find a bug on the edge of my plate. Thankfully, I noticed it before I began eating. Food rating: 1/5.

The spring rolls here are fantastic! While the prices are a bit on the higher side, that's pretty much the case everywhere these days. I ordered the beef lo mein, which you can see in the picture below. The restaurant has a wonderful seating area, both indoors and outdoors, and when you walk in, the place has a lovely mint scent. Overall, I would rate the food a 5/5!

I ended up driving back to the restaurant to return the food and request my refund. I shouldn't have had to make that trip, but they were unwilling to give me back my money. Every concern I raised about the food was met with suggestions on how I could "fix" it, or I was told that I was wrong about my order. I'm really disappointed because I used to enjoy this place until today. While I know that one person shouldn’t spoil my opinion, I don’t plan on coming back after this rude experience, especially since it seems they may have changed the menu. They clearly gave me the wrong order but wouldn’t own up to it.

The food is great this is what brings us back but often we have to go through so many tables before we sit down. They are not bussed or cleaned off and the tables cleared off are not wiped down. There is still crumbs or spilled sauce on it.Last night our server was nice but at 9:02 told us they were closing. I thought he was only asking for me to pay now so I did but he kept coming back reminding us they needed to close and brought us to go bowls. We came in at 8:25 after my kid's activity. She was so hungry. After the 3rd time of him coming in less than 5 minutes I was frustrated. We put our soup in Togo so we could leave. If you look at the ticket you can see how early it was. I'm not sure why he categorized us as a phone order. If the food was not so good I would give up. After last night's experience I'm not sure when we'll be back again. We were regulars.

Ordered delivery from here, the pho broth was cold and some of the rice was starting to get cold. Fortunately, everything tasted pretty solid. Pho is excellent and full of flavor. The sesame chicken was fresh and good, but I probably would try something else next time. Great menu selection, especially if you like sushi. I'll be making a trip to dine in here in the near future for sure!
