The last two times we've ordered pizza, I've ordered extra pepperoni. There are five slices of pepperoni on their normal Chimp's Chow pizza. They forgot the extra pepperoni, them the blond kid in the food truck tried to telle there actually was extra pepperoni on it. No, there wasn't. You can count them. I blew this off. Kid didn't offer a refund of the charge or to make a new one. Tonight, I ordered the same with extra pepperoni and waited 40 minutes. I went to check on it, and they handed me a cold pizza with no extra pepperoni. I took it back this time, and the kid again tried to lie and say there was extra pepperoni. Meanwhile, you can see all the other pizzas with pepperoni had the same five slices. Kid is a liar then was laughing to his friends about it. Literally, as I was walking off he started laughing about it.He should be fired as that's unacceptable.
Ordered a pizza to pick up, realized after getting there to pick it up it was only a personal size pizza. But worse, the kid working the counter responded with I don 't make the prices . Ok but I don 't want this so just refund me and I 'll be on my way. Response from kid you ordered online and I 'm the only one here there 's nothing I can do . So disappointed at this point I just leave with my personal size pizza for 2. I support local business but the kids working places these days really need to learn manners and problem solving.
Not really sure why anyone would give this place more than two starsI give it one because of the cynical nature of the businessThe crusts are premade. And thin. And not crispySeriously, I can get better pizza from the freezer caseI guess people feel like if they paid $12 plus for basically as much food as your average gas station slice (with poorer quality) they have cognitive dissonance if they don't leave a good review. I mean, it is a nice setup. Dog and kid friendly, full bar just steps away. But seriously, expecting so much better. I hoped for the quality of a Community Pizza in Wimberley but was seriously let down.On the way home, we gazed longingly at the Hunt Brothers sign at the gas station...
The pizza usually tastes great, but the last two times I've ordered extra pepperoni, it was left off. The first time I didn't bother saying anything, but the second time I let them know and the young man working the food truck said that it did have extra pepperoni. The pizzas are small it is obvious if there is the usual 5 slices or not. Which wouldn't have been a big deal, and I wouldn't be leaving the review, except the young man tried to lie about it and was rather rude.
The venue is amazing and unique. Great pizza and service. Great place to watch a sunset, listen to music, and eat great pizza!
