I had a fantastic brunch experience at Sisco. Despite the crowded atmosphere, the food and drinks were served promptly and were delicious. The staff was friendly and entertaining. In addition to indoor seating, there is also a charming outdoor area in the back. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant.
We had a 17th birthday party in sisco, where a dozen girls have learned the art of making gnocchi. it was an absolutely amazing afternoon for them in a quiet and relaxing garden. from the beginning poorando was the owner and moderator, animated and...playful, engaged the girls and held their attention to make for almost an hour theory of kartoffel and gnocchi. the girls were mesmerized! then the funny part came where they applied what they had learned to peel hot potatoes, knead the dough only so, roll the individual gnocchi, how to cook and creatiw place their creation, and finally, the joy of tasting their gnocchi. belissimo! it was such a joy to be in the presence of a Gnocchi master, armando was not only knowledgeable, but put his passion into the class, so it was not only glorious eating, but equally important, it was fun! we recommend this class, or just immerse and have a delicious little gnocchi!
We had two of the best, tasty meals we've ever eaten in this wonderful café. Great sourdough and this maple bacon... well, we couldn't get enough of it, so we bought two of the pumpkin and maple bacon slices home. G/f Brownie was... infertile, so delicious! Coffee was great, service excellent. The prices were very reasonable, we eat quite a lot, so we appreciate money especially if it is so good! We were so glad that the first café we went to was closed and we landed in this beautiful place. Thank you.
Popped by this morning for a quick takeaway bagel sandwich (read simply enough on the menu: bacon, egg, a bit of relish- easy done right? Not only was I waiting half an hour for it- but the staff really need to advise customers when something...is not suitable for takeaway. I was given a rather large box to take away and after walking 2 short blocks to the office- gently carrying my mega parcel- I was left with balsamic bagel soup! Greatly disappointed. Somehow the balsamic was even on the bottom of the bagel? Anyway the whole thing was totally soggy and the baking paper under the bagel was absolutely sopping wet. Im shocked it didnt leak through the box. I had to bin the whole $16 sandwich- which was really disappointing as it smelled nice....more disappointing that I waiting 30 minutes and that no one told me it was a wet snack, best enjoyed in house. Should have taken a photo- but was sort of starving and flabbergasted so I just chucked it.
