Captain D's - Spring Hill

The place was clean. Price was reasonable. Crab cakes were awesome and I didn't expect it to come in the shell. The hushpuppies were probably one of the best I ever had (which might not be saying much because I've only had hushpuppies a handful of times). They had more in them than just batter or cornmeal or whatever doughy stuff they use for hushpuppy batter. The water from the fountain that day trickled, and it was faster to ask for a cup to be filled from behind the counter. Their service is great at the counter. Bathroom and restaurant were clean. My husband loved that the green beans were made with ham. They did switch our sides up or our main platter up (whichever way you want to see it), but no biggie. The fries did not impress me and neither did the fried fish. It was the hushpuppies and the crab cakes that got me????.

I wanted to try the catfish sandwich. $7.99 remove from the wrapper very thin piece of fish hanging out of both sides of the bun...that when you pick you the top of the bun you find out it is 2 small pc with an empty middle of the sandwich. It tasted good but too much for too little

Excellent service food was fresh and great portions. Staff was excellent and friendly. Place was very clean also. Great experience. kudos

Really think that the Sunday manager needs more customer service skills, clearly she's mad because she's having to help because they was busy, she couldn't be sitting in the office doing much of nothing, would rather argue with customers about condements, redicious

Staff was very friendly and greated us as we entered. Staff member visited our table asked if she could clear items or bring us refills on our drinks.
