China City - Spring Hill

I am revising my evaluation of this restaurant based on their service. They only seem to be open when they feel like it and do not answer their phone. I called multiple times in a row and even went in person, but no one could answer a simple phone call. Google always shows them as open, but they do not seem to be consistently open. Additionally, many items on their menu appear to be frozen and then just reheated. Save yourself time and money by trying similar dishes at the St Asian market on 19th and Northcliffe.

The restaurant offers a lovely selection of dim sum that made for a delightful dinner! It pairs well with Chinese beer or tea. The service is friendly and attentive, and the interior is modern and impeccably clean. They also serve Japanese noodle dishes, which we are excited to try on our next visit.

If you love authentic roman noodle soup you need to go here. Staff is always helpful and there portions are enough that you have for a second meal.

We made a meal out of several dim sum dishes and they all tasted fresh and home made. The broth for the soup was rich and the dumplings were tasty and delicate. I love that they serve hot tea in a pot made with loose leaf tea instead of generic tea bags.

Great dim sum! We had 7 varieties between two of us including shrimp dumplings, pan fried dumplings and Shanghai soup dumplings. Exceptionally clean restaurant and bathrooms. Don’t let the exterior and shopping center fool you! Highly recommend...
