The sides tasted horrible, lima beans had to be out of can and cooked in old butter. The hushpuppies were burnt to crisp and tasted as if they had been cooked in old grease. The sweet tea was instant sour tea with artificial sweetener. I hate to leave a review like this but I wasted too much money on this place just to throw it away and order a pizza. NOT HOME COOKED COUNTRY FOOD...do not recommend. My husband being an army vet said he would much rather eat a MRE.
I was looking for a new local restaurant to eat and I found this place. My husband is very picky about food but when we ate from this restaurant, we were very pleased. The food was very good. I had the trout, baby shrimp, green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. The baby shrimp I was expecting far exceeded what I thought. They were nice size shrimp for them to be baby shrimp. Delicious. The trout was seasoned and cooked to perfection. And one of the best things I liked was there was enough gravy on my potatoes to cover ALL the potatoes. Not sure about anyone else but I have gotten mashed potatoes with gravy from other places that only gave me a drop of gravy. I could keep going on about this local restaurant but I will end with this. Go try this local restaurant and help support them. It is well worth it. Thank you
I recommend the philly steak cheese fixed the way you want.
Great food and good country cooking. We eat here very often and it is always great food and friendly staff. My granddaughter loves to see Misty and Lala.
Owner very rude. I sent food back. He said he wouldn't want us back. He didn't want to recook anything. Since.burger to done. And catfish wasn't done. I won't be going back. Since I spent $60.00 a week there
