After reading some reviews I noticed I was not the only one that thought the broth tasted like old dishwater, and that's not a joke. It had the potential to taste good but that aftertaste of dishwater was too much and I couldn't finish. I have been here 2 times in hopes I was there on a bad day. I was wrong. I went there at around 745 and they close at 930 but the servers and kitchen kept side eying my and my date. However I will try them one last time next month and update the review. I really want this place to not be as bad as my last two experiences.
I got the spicy pork tantan-men and gyoza. Both were absolutely amazing! Best ramen place I’ve ever been to. Can’t wait to go back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Let me just start by saying I 've never been to a ramen place that I do not like. That being said, I was really excited to try this place because of all the good reviews on Google and Yelp.My buddy had the seafood ramen, and I had the spicy tantan men to start. My friend said his seafood ramen was O.K. best, and really only enjoyed the octopus. My tantan men was honestly inedible. I tried, I really tried to eat it but only got about three bites in before I started feeling nauseous. Completely confused, and slightly embarrassed I went up to the cashier/host and explained that I may have ordered something I didn 't like before that the dish just wasn 't made right. I asked if I could please maybe get a discount on a different menu item or a substitution. Instead of answering my question she just rang me up for the other dish I wanted to try. In total. I ended up paying about $30 for one very mediocre ramen that had discolored beef, and one completely inedible tan-tan men. ??As for the atmosphere, it is not very cozy, and almost seems like some kind of pizza joint. The place seems like it was just kind of thrown together. Also, despite the fact that I love country music, it was slightly off putting being in a ramen joint with Luke Combs playing. Overall the atmosphere was not terrible, just very odd.Personally, I would not recommend anybody to this restaurant that truly appreciates ramen and pho. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere slightly more tasteful and authentic.
We had a great time here and the ramen was better! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful with the menu. Our group went before a show we had at the Pavilion. I had ordered a large ramen bowl to share with my sister; they offered to split it in two different bowls before serving which I thought was extremely thoughtful. I need to come back soon!
Ramen (pork tantan) was great, and so was the spider bun. Food came out in a reasonable time and the pricing and service was excellent. Only thing I would change is there is currently no refillable soft drink option. They do have several individual purchase items to choose from for drinks. Also refillable water and unsweetened tea is available.
