I ordered a double cheeseburger and noticed that there was no one in the kitchen until my order was nearly ready after about five minutes. I finally received my order about ten minutes later. I was particularly concerned when I saw the line cook drop a knife, pick it up, and continue cooking without changing his gloves. Overall, I was very disappointed with this visit.
My favorite spot! The quality and consistency are outstanding. Those are my two favorite things when it comes to satisfying cravings. The staff could be a bit more attractive, but honestly, who cares when the burgers and fries are always so delicious?
Typically, we choose a different burger and custard spot, but we decided to try something new today. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, and the food didn't taste fresh. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was also quite off-putting. At Culver's, kids' meals come with ice cream, while Freddy's does not. Culver's offers table service, whereas Freddy's relies on a muffled PA system for ordering. Overall, there wasn't a single aspect of our meal that we enjoyed more, which was disappointing.
I was very disappointed with our visit. My husband and I decided to take a walk from our hotel and wound up at Freddy's for frozen pitch. The store was not very busy, and more than enough staff. There were two or three teenage boys working on the front counter, and our order was taken quite quickly. My husband ordered a big concrete, and I ordered a double dish with Reeses PBC toppings. When the boy started it, he rang as a sunflower instead of the way I ordered it, and the more expensive price would not have been worth mentioning here, except that he would have been 80 cents for single-topping. I didn't say anything about it, and we took our reception and went to sit down. We were not in a hurry, so first I didn't even pay attention to how much time had passed. But I started to notice that two or three other customers came and ordered full meals after we have already waited for our, and they already received their orders. The guys who worked in front were gone at that point. Another employee, a teenage girl, sat on the stand in front of us, who either ended on the break or just finished her shift, and the guys came over and over again and behaved with her. I pointed out to my husband that no one ever made any pumpkin dishes, but he told me to be patient, so we sat on and waited. But finally I took my phone out to see how late it was, and it was 20 minutes since we ordered. I finally got up and went to the counter, and one of the guys looked at the command screen and said, "I'm doing this for you now!" .but just as he was ready to do it, he noticed that the girl was standing up and collecting her stuff, and I guess it was going over and messed with her again, was more of a priority than to make our dishes. When we finally got our job, my husband's concrete looked more like a milkshake. We actually asked the boy if that was a concrete, and his answer was: should be. Then he left. We always had great experiences at the other Freddy's locations we visited, and I am sure that our experience in this one would have been much different if we had ordered something else than frozen ecstard or if there had been better support for younger employees. The store itself was in great shape, very clean and well sorted, and the staff from the kitchen, the other customers presented the meals to them were all very polite.
Good food overall. There are better locations, I must say. Service was absolutely abhorent. Took 20 minutes for someone to talk to us on the speaker and 30 minutes for food. My order was messed up, I paid extra for the double and got a single. Disappointed.
