Ocean Crab House - Springfield

My husband and I love this place it is our pick anytime we are in Springfield. The food I so fresh and so good. The only thing that would make is best is to have outdoor seating with a ocean view. Keep up the good work.

Crab legs were SO good. I ordered them through Yelp! With delivery from Grubhub. My driver took forever to get to me and those crab legs were still tasty as heck!! I will definitely be ordering there again. I'm going to try to visit the restaurant too. The lemon pepper sauce really hit the spot. The potatoes and corn were a great treat too. I love you guys

It was an interesting experience. I had the half pound snow crab that came with two potatoes and a corn on the cob in garlic butter. It came in a bag, all together, that was steamed that way! It was a new way I've been given food. The food was good. To me, the prices of certain things seemed a bit more expensive than they should be. The food was delicious.I only downgraded stars because there was only one waiter for the whole restaurant. He still did a good job, I just think it's poor management skills to do that. The women's bathroom also had a bad smell in it.

Do not waste your money. Very overpriced and the food is mediocre at best. All the breading fell off the calamari, the lobster tails were overcooked, as was the half a corncob you are served. You also get one steamed red potato. We ordered two appetizers and got one then 15 minutes later the second one. They are short on serving staff and the menu is very confusing. Our waitress had a hard time understanding us and $108 later we left knowing we will never step foot in that restaurant again. Hope we can save others from disappointment or get the restaurant to step it up. We want businesses to succeed, so let’s hope for the later.

We were in Springfield from Decatur for a day. Drove by decided to pop in.I had a soft shell crab basket Husband had a oyster poboy We got them with Cajun fries. Was hot fresh and delicious. ?
