Mcdonald's - Spruce Grove

While the food may look appealing in pictures, the buns I get seem almost indestructible and definitely not fresh. Surely they must have a best before date? Every time I order from here, I end up with the driest buns from McDonald's, or my order is just completely wrong.

The service was excellent! I requested chocolate chunk cookies, and they made them fresh for me very quickly.

I used the drive-thru, and it went smoothly. My order was perfect, which was a refreshing change since they often forget something. I was really pleased with my experience this time.

I arrived at 3:07 AM while passing through town on my way to Edmonton, only to be told by a woman that the restaurant was closed. The sign clearly stated it was open 24 hours, which was frustratingly misleading. After an incredibly long drive to Edmonton, I was really looking forward to grabbing some food. Unfortunately, it seems I shouldn't have expected a small town to follow their own signage. To make matters worse, the staff member was quite rude. It's disappointing to say that Spruce Grove has been a poor experience with this McDonald's. I should have opted to stop in Stony Plain instead. This was on the early morning of August 18th, 2023. Dietary restrictions: BAD SERVICE!

It seems that if you're paying with cash, you're not a priority here. I, along with a gentleman with his grandkids in front of me, were completely overlooked by the 10-15 staff members present. I used the kiosk to check prices but ultimately paid cash. Meanwhile, seven other customers using the kiosk to pay by debit were helped before anyone even acknowledged the man ahead of me. To add insult to injury, every single order displayed on the screen was fulfilled before my simple order of a sausage muffin and a drink was even addressed. This experience reflects a complete lack of customer service and suggests that they only care about getting customers in and out quickly. If it weren't so inconvenient to visit the Century Road location and if the Stony Plain location offered refills, I wouldn't consider returning—this isn't the first time I've encountered issues with their cash service.
