Crab rangoons, sweet and sour pork, bbq pork and mixed greens, chicken balls, mushroom fried rice and shrimp chow main ALL 10/10. The shrimp were big and plentiful. Everything was so fresh, hot and flavourful. Everything had its own distinct taste where some Chinese food has all the same sauce. The sweet and sour pork was huge and very saucy. Chicken balls filled and not all batter. The veggies were cooked perfectly. All around excellent food. Our go to Chinese restaurant every time :
Friendly staff and clean location. Food was ok, but nothing to write home about. It was quick and easy.
Got take out the spring rolls are soooo big all the food was amazing ?
I'm writing this review fresh off my first visit to Rainbow Palace in Spruce Grove and let me just say WOW. I had to put my thoughts down while the flavors are still fresh in my mind. It's not every day you come across a place that impresses on all fronts. When I walked in, it was pretty busy but the staff was friendly and super efficient. Got me seated pretty quick and I liked the vibe immediately a nice mix of traditional Chinese aesthetics and a homely feel. Now to the best part the food. I ordered panfried dumplings and sesame chicken. I'm a big dumplings fan, and these ones were spot on crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, just how I like them. The sesame chicken though, that was the game changer. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and the sesame seeds added a nice crunch to it. The sauce was just right, not too sweet, not too savory. It's clear they really know what they're doing in that kitchen. So yeah, definitely check out Rainbow Palace if you're in the Spruce Grove area. Genuine Chinese cuisine that hits the spot. Will be back for sure.
I've been ordering from this restaurant for many years and I've slowly see a decline it the food portions, and its not so much the food but the over all quality and portions. I ordered a week ago to find the increase in cost and the containers that the food are coming in are very much smaller than they use to be. very disappointed in $100 order with tip to find it didn't even feed 5 people. use to be the best place in the Grove, now i doubt i will order from there again. Still best egg rolls though.
