Las Cruces Latin Fusion - Spruce Pine

While on vacation in the area, we decided to try out this restaurant for lunch. The waiter recommended the Cuban sandwich and shrimp tacos, which my wife and I ordered. Our kids chose the chicken taco from the kids menu. Additionally, we ordered two pork tamales with green sauce. Our lunch entrees came with fresh avocado and mixed green salads, which we enjoyed with sauces from the salsa bar. Everything was delicious. Our picky eater kids loved their tacos and my son particularly enjoyed the rice served with his taco. The tamales were a hit with all of us. The shrimp tacos were perfectly cooked and seasoned, topped with a smoky chipotle sauce that elevated the dish. My wife's Cuban sandwich was incredible, even without mustard. The bread and butter pickles added an unexpected but tasty twist. The restaurant was cozy and clean, and the service was excellent. Despite being the only customers at the time, the food was incredible. If you're in the area, give this place a try. They may be moving to a new location soon, so be sure to check if they are open elsewhere. You won't be disappointed.

After hearing great reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try and we were not disappointed. Our server/manager, Billy, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the menu and even went above and beyond when we asked for room temperature bottled water to prepare formula for our baby. He assured us that they use triple filtered water and provided us with a single use cup. The food was delicious and full of flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed the Caribbean chicken, which was juicy and perfectly spiced. The homemade salsa that came with it was also very tasty. My wife loved the Mahi fish tacos, especially the creamy smoky chipotle sauce. Unfortunately, we won't be able to visit again on this trip as they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Note that reservations are highly encouraged, though we were lucky enough to be seated without one. Your mileage may vary.

Fresh and good! Owners are very nice. You can tell the chef takes pride in her food. Atmosphere is nice and the restaurant is clean!

Came here during our visit to Linville falls. The food was very good and fresh. Billy the manager was very courteous and explained the food and decor of the restaurant with lot of enthusiasim.
