Fortune Kitchen Chinese Cuisine

We tried Fortune Kitchen after moving into the area from Toronto. I really enjoyed their food. We ordered the wonton noodle soup (comes with rice noodles) which I prefer, Singapore fried Vermicelli (tasted just like it does in Toronto) and the Satay Beef fried noodles (which my boyfriend really liked)I would definitely go back, especially now that we moved here! :)

Food is always good. Best place in town for Chinese. Don't let it's exterior fool you, the food is always good

I'll start out by saying, don't let the exterior of this place fool you. Looks like a dive place on the outside but the food is delicious with huge portions.As for the comment saying sides do not come with the meal, I find that's pretty standard for any Chinese place you visit. You can also get beef chop suey, which is noodles beef

The appearance on the outside does not inspire to go inside. Thankfully I read the good TA ratings. The interior is nice

My daughter and I wanted to try some Chinese while we were in the area and stumbled across this place. Not much to look at from the outside but we figured we would give it a chance as we like to experience local culture. We get in and the lady at the counter asks us if we are eating in or taking out and we say eating in. She then says it will be at least a 30-35 minute wait for food....and there are 5 other people in the restaurant at the time. We say ok and find a table. There were dirty tables everywhere in the place so we didn't have much a choice. We wait about 5 minutes before we ever get a menu, which seemed crazy since there is no one here. We finally get a menu and order our food. I order Mongolian beef and close my menu. Now everywhere I have been before and ordered this, it traditionally comes with a side such as rice. The waitress asks if we want rice with our meal and we say of course, isn't it included? She says nope, all you get is the Mongolian beef. Needless to say, this was the last straw and we said it wasn't the place for us. The waitress seemed relieved that we had gotten up. Terrible experience!
