'The Best ' Cafe in Saint Albans . I met Gantz when he first Opened in 1976 , Caught up with him the other day ; when he quizzed me .I said 1977 . I rated his coffee blends 10 /10 . To get good coffee in those days I had to travel into london , which I did every weekend .He has ,Without fail : kept the same standard . Top man , The Staff are top notch ... Polite , caring , Attentive . Georgie . PS Just heard the sad news that Gantz has passed . Sad news .New owner now . Nice lady .

Really good coffee and tasty food. Staff are really welcoming and this overall is a huge upgrade compared to the faceless chain of coffee houses elsewhere.

Dog friendly which is a great convenience when you travel with your little ones. Very sweet local cafe. Most of the clients are regular which makes the atmosphere homy and relaxed. Lovely team, very attentive when it comes to placing an order. At 11:00 on Saturday cafe was busy but buzzing just enough. Decent choice of pastries and light breakfast. Great capuchino

Had an overnight stay in St Albans and found this lovely little place for breakfast, served by two ladies who couldn't have been nicer. We can recommend the coffee, sausage sandwich and sourdough toasties. If we lived here we'd be a regular! Thank you for your marvellous hospitality.
