Cross Keys - St Albans

This is a very traditional local pub that I always enjoy visiting, even though I'm not a regular. The regular patrons and beautiful decor make it a welcoming place. The back garden is lovely when the weather is warmer, and both rooms have open fires in the winter, making it a cozy spot year-round. I particularly like the brass keys in the wood floor and the tankards in the main bar. The second room feels like a cozy front parlor straight out of someone's grandma's house. The Timothy Taylor Landlord pint was delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by the free cheese bread offered during my late Sunday afternoon visit. Overall, a great pub experience!

This cozy little pub with a large garden is a gem. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the friendly staff always make you feel like a regular, no matter how new you are. I wish I could give it more stars, it's that good!
