The Boot Public House - St Albans

I visited The Boot for the first time, and it's a fantastic representation of an English pub. There was a wonderful mix of young and older patrons, creating a lovely atmosphere where everyone was enjoying their evening. A big thank you to the bar staff for their excellent service!

Great traditional pub! It used to be frustrating to book tables for lunch, but thankfully that's become less of an issue now. I would love to dine here more often if they would bring back the classic pub food, which was really fantastic. I'm just not a fan of the new menu.

The pub itself is charming, boasting a historic ambiance with low ceilings and oak beams—one of many such establishments in St. Albans. It offers a solid selection of beers and has a genuine local vibe rather than just being a tourist spot. It's not where I would typically expect to find tacos, but I truly commend them for taking a chance on something beyond the usual mediocre burgers.

A great example of character and ambience in the centre of a medieval city. Great beers, lovely staff and fair pricing. A must visit.
