Critical Mass Brewing - St. Albert

Very attentive and friendly service even though it was quite busy due to the St Albert car show. Good selection of beers, a little pricey but at 7.50 a glass but in the range o brew pubs. They do make excellent Burgers and a great Chicken sandwich. The fries are perfectly cooked, fairly thin and FULLY peeled. Man I hate half peeled fries. These are every bit as good as McDonald's. The Burgers and fries are about $16 each. That is about the same price as Jack's Burgers across the street but a MUCH better burger. On top of that Jack's closed at 8 despite there being thousands of people in the downtown are for the car show.

Went after going to St Albert Farmer's Market. All beers are from AB and wines are from BC - they try and stay as local as possible. Out of group of four, Two of us had breakfast wrap which was nice size and good price. Staff was very friendly and would make suggestions for beers.

We have been to Critical Mass twice and had very positive experiences both times. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu items and about the craft beers on offer....plus they are very friendly.We ordered different things from the food menu each time we visited this restaurant and were not disappointed. My husband loved being able to substitute hamberuger buns for naan bread and I loved the butter chicken. We have been pleased with all of our food choices.This is a business owned and operated by a group of dedicated, hard working, young people who have a vision. Critical Mass is a place that the whole family can go to but they also have a lounge area for adults only. You can have a conversation and hear each other speak. Plus, I love how they have decorated the establishment.We will be returning again and again. We wish the owners every success as they deserve it.

My husband and I had spent the day sightseeing in St. Albert, we were heading to our car and walked by Critical Mass Brewing. Decided to go in and see what they had on offer for dinner. We were so glad we did. I had the fire roasted chicken with roasted veggies and it was delicious as well as being beautifully presented. My husband had the Bourbon Burger with yam fries (he substituted regular fries for the yam fries) and stated it was one of the best burgers he had had. Service was friendly. Prices were certainly fair and considering how good the food was, prices were low. The menu was good, two or three offerings caught my attention so want to go back and try one of the other menu items now that I know how good the food was. There was outdoor seating as well as indoor. Nice that you have the choice.

Five of us went down to Critical Mass Brewing (CMB) for dinner. We each ordered something different and every dish was perfectly prepared and very tasty. Kudos to the Chef! Tuna, steak, Salmon, chicken and fettuccine with shrimp all came at the same time piping hot and as ordered. Prices are mid range and service was very good. Would definitely recommend it highly. Variety of Canadian craft beers too!
