Yuzen Japanese Restaurant - St. Albert

As of end of June this wonderful place at this location will be no more. But, happily they are opening a ramen place Menya Yuzen at 170 st/ 107th Av And also a sushi place at 585 St Albert Trail.

This is so far my favorite place to go for Japanese food. Food quality is superb and service is always great! My favorite is the sea salt hamachi collar and the cajun crispy roll. Sooooo good! I highly recommend if you are in St. Albert looking for a good Japanese meal.

We were in St. Albert for a wedding yesterday and needed a bite to eat. We'll Yuzen proved to be a delight. The Tan-Tan with black garlic oil was best I've ever had. We really lucked out as when I went to pay the bill, (reasonably priced by the way) they said we were lucky because there are usually line ups. Told guests at the wedding and they thanked us and look forward to trying Yuzen out!

This is a top notch sushi restaurant during the week but on weekends this is an amazing Ramen restaurant. They started with just a Saturday lunch for Ramen but it was so popular they had to add more times to get it. The sushi menu is not available during the weekend so it can lead to problems if you have different cravings based on what they offer. The wait is definitely worth it for the Ramen.

Great, fresh, delicious Japanese food. The food takes a bit longer than average to arrive at your table but it's worth the wait.
