Truly my favorite restaurant, if not top 3, in Edmonton. The owners are a lovely old couple. What first brought me in was the plain, simple sign. It just felt like there’s a chance it’s going to be a nice small family restaurant. I was right. Mario had baked an Egyptian bread for an Egyptian customer. He shared some with me, the flavour of the olives really came out in that. Mario gave me my Aglio e Olio and some free garlic twists and some more of the bread. The Aglio E Olio was the best I’ve ever had. The flavour of the garlic is very strong in the oil and the handmade pasta has a little stretch to it. The best value for money. I love the mussels, Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, Bread, and the coffee. Food is always fresh, proportions are generous. I went there for my birthday and they got us a cake and a gift! Lovely time there every time. I hope they stay in business and survive this!
The food was really yummy the salmon was perfecto but it was expensive ngl. and they should have gave us more shrimp I was sad. but it came with free breadsticks and u know ur girl loves bread so I forgive them. the chefs name is mario so I trust them. the waitress was really nice and made sure everything is good
Amazing hidden gem you have to eat here the food is fresh and made with love the owners are beautiful people who treat you like family!!! Muscles in cream sauce with bread seafood special and amazing tiramisu
Excellent food, excellent service. The chef and the hostess were super friendly and considerate. They have the best calamari I have ever had very tender and lightly fried, and the marinara dipping sauce was delicious. I had a bite of the dishes my friends ordered because I wasn't hungry enough to order a main dish, and everything was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of their food.
