Indian Spice Kitchen

The food and service were ahead of my expectations. I surely liked the environment of this place. Nice spot to take my family out for dinner.

I ordered the small mix-and-match combo, which was butter chicken and chana masala with basmati rice and an extra side of naan bread. When I picked it up, I was surprised that is was in a small styrofoam box like the kind that burger places used to use), but it was relatively expensive $11). The box was mostly filled with rice with a thin coating of butter chicken and chana masala. Both entrees were described as mild, but I would describe them as bland. The naan was a factory-made that you can buy at almost any grocery store. I don't recommend that you eat here, especially if you like Indian food.

Thoroughly impressed. I’ve always avoided eating chicken at restaurants due to the lack of quality, but these guys at Indian Spice are another story. Probably the best quality of chicken I’ve had at a restaurant, can definitely tell they care about the quality of product they put out. Would definitely recommend if you’re ever around the downtown area

I've only eaten here once but I chose to eat here based on a recommendation from a friend who grew up in India, and I was not disappointed. The feature meat and veggie dishes that day and the lamb were all quite delicious. The naan was okay as well (though not necessarily my favourite variety). The portion sizes are large and while my lunch was a bit expensive (in part as I got naan and lamb) it was really good. The fact that you can choose brown rice over white rice is also quite nice. The food court kiosk is new and well lit. I wish it success.

They don't know how to make a Chai latte, forget Indian food. My recommendation, stay away from this joint. Walk a few minutes to Tiffins restaurant or Why not Indian across the street.
