Nigist - St. Andrew's Parish

This restaurant is easy to miss if you're not paying attention. I stumbled upon it by accident, but now I know exactly where it is and what I want to try next time. The decor is fantastic with wicker chairs, quirky tables, and stools perfect for groups to share platters. It reminded me of Duran Duran music videos, especially "Hungry Like the Wolf." There was also an impressive collection of pyramids on display. We enjoyed a customizable platter, which was delicious. Even the green beans were surprisingly tasty! The service could have been a tad friendlier, our server, who resembled Diana Ross, was efficient but a bit abrupt. There were two servers, including a redhead smoking a hookah pipe, who was a bit unresponsive when we asked for the bill. Despite the service, I can't wait to return and try the coffee when the weather cools down.
