Great place on weekdays. Avoid on weekends if you don't want to deal with the aggressive street preachers that hold the block hostage with noise. *bumped it up to 5 stars because it's not their fault where the maniacs choose to scream*

Fantastic supermarket that carries grocery items from central and South America. I found a recipe for a Spanish beef stew and one of the ingredients was Sofrito so we went to this store and found it. We looked around the store and it was great. There is salsa, beans, piñata’s, Mexican hot chocolate and tomalies. I definitely recommend this place for the your needs for Central and South American food. It’s family operated and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Made Al Pastor tacos, had all the ingredients I needed to keep it authentic and even provided some friendly advice with the recipe that really helped make the meal extra special.

My favourite local market! They have so many different products from Latin American countries, including delicious beverages, snacks, canned goods and more. They also have fresh hot food including tamales, many varieties of empanadas, delicious pozole soup, and on Fridays and Saturdays, Pupusas! Everyone who works there is so friendly and kind. We are lucky to have them in Alberta Avenue!

Great selection of food products at fair prices. The deli counter with the hot food is phenomenal. The food is incredibly delicious and very fair in price. The sweet cheese and guava things are outstanding.
