The Sherlock Holmes Pub Campus

Just had some takeout dinner tonight at Sherlock Holmes Pub across from the University Hospital. We had a 2 piece fish and chips and the Dave’s dry ribs. The food was good, but neither order came with the extras that are shown on the menu. The fish and chips did not come with coleslaw or tartar sauce, and the Dave’s ribs did not come with any sauce. Like I mentioned above, the food itself was good, but what makes it great is when it comes with the applicable side condiments as shown in the menu. Very disappointing when you are expecting AND PAYING for a complete meal only to find part of it is missing when we opened the takeout boxes.

Had a quick bite before heading to watch Matt Riffe. Everything was great food and service wise. The only downside was we had a table less than 2 feet from the mens bathroom door. It was really packed for space in there. Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fries were soggy and not very crisp which is whatever. But the numerous ants crawling out of the take out container was horrifying and disgusting. I have lots of videos and pictured of them literally crawling out of the folds of the takeout box. The table was covered with them by the time we left. The food and service was good. However when I asked for a takeout box bugs were crawling out of the takeout box. Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Great spot to spend a couple of hours, tvs with the game on, great atmosphere, great staff. I will be back for sure!!! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
