Bathroom was clean and beautiful, halfway under the chair. I have the toast basket. 2 slices with butter and jam. $3. Selection of white, wheat or rye. I need to mix two guys. My daughter ordered a chicken pesto sandwich. But good food took a long time to prepare. I'll be back. Cosy and cute. Beautiful ambience and mood.
Waiting is a bit long, but understandable for the small seat, and popularity of the place. Unfortunately we came for the first time to eat, we told the hostess how many were in our party and she told us to wait until she could sit a few more people, so we waited about 15 minutes while she looked out for people who did not seem to be around. After waiting, she came to us and told us that she wouldn't be able to put us because she was closing in 30 minutes. I have no problem with closing, but it would have been nice to know in advance so that we could look for another place after a long cold morning of walking. When we checked out the place again a few days later, we came to eat the cookies and Gravy were fantastic, the service was great and I heard the eggs Benedict were also amazing by another member of my party!
It was a beautiful setting with a lovely view of the Lion's Bridge in downtown St. Augustine. The peach cobbler French toast was delicious, but the cheese grits left more to be desired.
We'll go by with friends and we'll stop HAD for a drink. You have a great Martini selection, all kinds of vodkas and combinations, but I am a Margarita person, so my Margarita... I enjoyed it so much, on the same day tried other places and other margaritas and they did not compare with this one. Great place, great bar
Really cool atmosphere and excellent food. I had the breakfast wrap which had so much chorizo it was almost ridiculous, but definitely delicious. Service was pretty good, and the location has a great view of the Bay. No regrets at all, and you will love it. The space is a little cramped, but not so bad you can't move. That's the only thing keeping it from a 5 star. But it's also St. Augustine, so most places are like that, to be fair.
