They have a small parking lot, but it was full so we drove around for a few minutes until we found nearby street parking. We didn 't have to wait for a table, but most were full and therewas a line outside when we left. I love a good corned beef hash and theirs is homemade, but it didn 't quite do it for me. Thebeef was cut into a tasty cubes mixed with onion and peppers and was a bit on the salty side, or the hash brown potatoes thatwere underneath were on the salty side. My personal preference for this dish is a finely chopped mixture of all the elementstogether where their flavors blend. This was more like a corned beef salad where everything was isolated and combined with theother ingredients. Overall it wasn 't terrible, but not what I care for. Points off for not serving poached eggs, but thescrambled I opted for instead were nice and fluffy. My daughter has the blue crab quiche and enjoyed it, though she felt itcould use more cheese. Full disclosure, we are a family of cheese nuts and my wife makes an awesome quiche that has a lot morecheese than you will ever likely see in a restaurant! Coffee was tasty. Biscuits with (I think) peach butter were very good.Service was awesome--friendly and she kept the coffee cups full. Final verdict for my first visit is a solid 4 stars. I lovethe variety on the menu even if I wasn 't a huge fan of what I selected. I would definitely come back to try something else. Thelunch salads also sound very interesting!
We loved eating here! we ordered the chicken and cookies and apples and feta salat and shared it. they were both delicious! I usually don't go crazy about an salate, but that was so savory and sweet with a mix of textures. the chicken and cookies came with a maple butter that was the perfect compliment to the umami of the cookie. also, keks texture is a hard thing to nail and these were divine. I almost ordered a cookie. the personal was beautiful and attentive and the room itself was secret, but chic. We sat at the counter and talked to the other diners with us who had similar fantastic culinary experiences. I would recommend going here if they visit St. augustine. in the did, we could go again while we are here! (bonus points because parking was a brise and free they have a parking lot, but there are also street parking)
So great to eat here today and taste the wonderful quality they make. my breakfast burrito was devine and the aromene and eating was so fresh and tasty. my other half had the drawn black Cuban and it was the best he ever had. many thanks to the staff and chef for a good meal .
Sweet place, friendly and attentive waiter, and delicious eating with generous portions. recommend the biscuits with their peach butter, chipotle pimento and breakfast burrito with red chili sauce.
Delicious food and great little place! the chicken biscuits and peach butter were amazing. it was nice that they also used coffee ice cream cubes in the ice coffee. can't wait to come back!
