Yummy's Food Truck - St. Augustine

Very nice friendly family owns this restaurant and we have been eating there for over ten years. They always give generous portions and they are consistent.. Lo mein is the best I have found in Saint Augustine.

I don't really eat a lot of Chinese food, but when I do, we go to the yummy wok in Saint Augustine, Fl. It's on US 1 in the Winn Dixie shopping center and is near West Marine. You can call in your order or walk up to the window and your order will only take a couple of minutes. More than we could eat and still was hot when I got it home. Order was correct and staff friendly

We have stopped for takeout a couple of times and the food was good, have not been there in a few months. So we stopped to pick up dinner for the family.....the food was not good, hot and sour soup had some kind of spice that did not belong there.....the beef dishes were chewy and the Bell peppers were almost raw, very crunchy....the taste was bland, no flavor.....so we threw it in the trash and had fried egg sandwiches for dinner. We will never go back

In my search for good Chinese in the St. Augustine area, Yummy Wok looked promising. It wasn't to my liking. We ordered two entrees, Kung Pao Chicken, and the House Special Steak. The meat in both dishes was tough and grisly. I had high hopes for the steak dish based on the description. The sauce on the steak dish was good but couldn't overcome the poor meat quality. The Kung Pao was spicy but not overly so, but again the meat was a disappointment. The veggies in both dishes seemed to have been cooked a little too long. They were all mostly mushy. We ordered takeout. The process was smooth and friendly. The food was ready quickly. We only tried these two dishes and didn't try the soups or rolls, so there could be hope, but I reckon I'll try a few other places before making a return trip to Yummy.

Was visiting St Augustine post cruise from Europe before heading back to Ireland. Was missing a chinese meal, and found Yummy Wok. Great big helpings and very helpful staff.
