This is a new place we tried. $8 for a small bowl Bland hot soup? $13 for noodles and chicken mostly noodles? The owner(? and his children worked, no other customers even we were grateful for coming.... As a new place, I'd think they want referees. Another concern, this is obviously only for people who read Mandarin the specialties written only in Chinese, I hate this. I'm not about two languages, but really? No English? In St. Catharines? Another sign that they do not welcome. I was hoping for an alternative to MA or a place with authentic or Nordic dishes. Unfortunately not. We won't be back and I'd encourage everyone to leave elsewhere.
The Chinese food at this restaurant is excellent and affordable. They recently updated their menu, so if you can read or speak Chinese, you will have more options and be able to ask questions about the food more easily. A must-try!
We recently tried to go there, it's close. Once a renovation is released, once again it was published near for the summer you will see after the summer. It only seems open when the students are around. By the way, the sign was written in Chinese.
This charming little restaurant is located downtown, right across from the Market. The food is excellent, especially if you can read Chinese. They offer two menus, one in Chinese and one in English. The English menu has fewer options. Be sure to try all the barbecued dishes. The food can be spicy, but you can request your preferred level of spice and salt.
