We really enjoyed the pheasant run resort. we were in the high tower of the rooms after a high time in the opposite. the rooms were updated and very clean. we had breakfast and toured it and wished we could have been there on a warmer day, then we would have stayed for golf. the golf pro shop was really nice, and the personal was friendly and happy to tell us all about the property and it is many pleasant things. next visit we will plan time in spa.
I'm sorry it was going to be auctioned. I loved the main pool that it was my favorite. I have many memories of childhood go there and I spent my week of thirst and high-time there. the rooms were large, two floors. then they had old retro-style rooms. the little shops were so sweet and the food was great.
I visited twice for conferences. some of the hotel rooms are a bit old. but well cleaned and functional. the catering for both events was excellent. nice eating, and the buffet for the large amount was well organized and everything was constantly re-taken and fresh. the staff were always friendly and helpful when we needed something. overall I can recommend the pheasant run for conferences.
I stayed here for a convention, so I must start by saying I didn 't do much resort things, just room, food and ballrooms. The rooms are definitely outdated and some things I saw made me concerned about cleanliness. However, the rooms did have pretty good views and the place has a kind of charm to it with it 's age Almost feels like staying at Grandma 's place or something. The food was good for the most part, however I recommend not going to the fast cafe for lunch (Breakfast is good) and expect to wait a little bit for service at the Atrium restaurant. The convention hall areas were absolutely fantastic, so much room and the staff set up little snack bars all over. The Bourbon Street area and St. Orleans ballroom was especially charming.
