Busy. as, always. to expect. parking is way too small. car, although kine blocks the small parking lot also. I can't blame her. clean them inside and eat good.
I was staying at the nearby Premier Inn when I ordered food from here via the McDonald’s app for collection. As I wasn’t in a vehicle and the place was shut for walk inns it took an age to collect my food as they said they would only bring it to the click and collect bay if I was in a vehicle. Madness. Finally agreed to place my order on an outside table which they had to walk past to get to the click and collect bays. Shouldn’t have bothered. Food was awful and cold.
Great service 24/7 and despite the limited menu, everything is served fast and with a smile. The drive through as been chaotic of late, but the wait is relatively short. I do agree with the other reviewer. The new screens that don't show what you are ordering until you have ordered are in the wrong place and not helpful for customers.
I have never been so disappointed with this particular McDonald's. They have moved the screen at the drive-thru so now you can't see how much you've spent until you reach the payment window, which makes it difficult for me to stay within my budget. I asked for extra dipping sauces for my family of five in the car, but we were only given one dip. This wouldn't be such a big deal, but now my kids are upset because they won't eat their fries without more sauce. To make matters worse, I found a dead bug cooked into my chicken wrap. It seems like during the lockdown, this McDonald's in Kingsley has turned into the one in Newquay. This is disappointing news to hear.
