Six Bells - St Edmundsbury

Despite living in the area, we had not visited the Six Bells before. A total delight. Set on the edge of Bardwell village, this picturesque pub has a wondeful garden with outdoor seating. A conservatory dining room also. The food was excellent with a reasonable selection on the menu and a few daily specials. The Old Speckled Hen was very well kept. And the pub also does accommodation. The owners/staff were very friendly. Can't wait for summer to come and eat outside. A little oasis of calm. Highly recommended.

I stayed here on business , the owners have put in place the appropriate Covid19 measures which was reassuring The food I found to be excellent and would recommend the Ribs as well as the pan fried chicken Rooms were clean and comfortable and no problems with beds as per other review Overall a great place to stay with friendly and attentive staff

We came here in June when we first moved back to area. Absolute gem of a find. Beautiful food and lovely staff!!!!

Delicious Sunday roast, veg perfect and meat delicious, had roast beef. Cosy living room with fire on and very comfy on wet Sunday!
