The Cavendish Tea Room - St Edmundsbury

We ordered coffee at this restaurant. The last time we visited, there were many antiques in the shop. This time, it had changed for the better with much more space. Two lovely ladies were serving us.

I always enjoy stopping at this restaurant for a cup of tea and cake during a beautiful bike ride around the stunning Suffolk countryside. The staff is very friendly and the cakes are delicious.

During our week-long stay in Cavendish, we frequented this coffee shop multiple times. The coffee was good, the cakes were great, and the owner was friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Additionally, the upstairs area had a fantastic assortment of handmade candles. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Quite taken back once walking inside, the tables are planted in between all the antiques! It's difficult to see where they all are. Unfortunately it was rather cold in there which made our tea get cold quickly our toasted tea cake was very cold! The assistant however was lovely the owner was friendly enough.

Just have a great lunch here but what's the best is the fantastic Christmas window display- with a little train as well! Cakes delicious, scones, spot on, warm with jam and clotted cream. Wife had a BLT! Brilliant! Three big slices of bacon! Nuff said. Go check it out over the season, you wont be disapointed
