Transformed! Lovely warm welcome by the new proprietors, perfect GnT, comfortable atmosphere.. so good to have a real village pub here!

We visited this pub a couple of weeks ago for lunch and the food and the welcome was great. They only thing they need to improve on is the outside space as it is very overgrown. We will definitely be back next time we are passing.

As a small group of walkers we visited the Lion on Thursday lunchtime. COVID rules, registration, screens, table service, etc was in place and used. A good range of beers and simple but good traditional food was enjoyed and served with a smile.

Great village pub ! Such a good place for a mid walk, warm and welcoming stop. The new management has made a big difference. Even the outside (and the toilets are pleasant now!

A proper pub used by local where the drinks come before the food. Friendly service, and scrupulous attention to the COVID regime. Recommended.
