American Bar & Restaurant - St. Gallen

I was 3 times at stars and stripes because it was a group trip. I wouldn't decide to go there alone. eating is extremely overpriced for the quality they deliver. I ate this at three different locations: 1. an irish whisky burger. it was served lukewarm and dry, it was not very tasty just a dry, lukewarm burger. 2. reserve ribs were also served lukewarm (I hate lukewarm food, especially when it pour out) it was difficult to separate the bone from the meat, only meh, 3. loaded pommes this was the worst dish that I had, very wounded fries, tasted like old fries in a microwave warmed so that the cheese and melted warm. I would have given 1 star, but the sundae they serve is really good.

We went to this restaurant on a Sunday evening due to the lack of other restaurants being opened so late (most closed by 10pm and we were looking around 9pm) good service, ok food (typical US style finger food, lots and lots of fried food),...and good beer. Excellent to fill a stomach if you don't have fancy needs.

No, thank you, I've rarely eaten so bad. as if everything was fried and finished. the service was ok but the quality of eating is not worth the price. a drink is still going.

Tasty eating, normal prices, nice anbeente and friendly staff. I'd definitely go to eat.
