However, it is necessary to remember that paulas is a Mexican restaurant of the 1970s in a small town utah that probably had no other hispanic food than it was built. it is cheesy, but full of history and good people. the service is always excellent and the view is fantastic. I love eating (probably because I grew up) although it is very basic. for many people in st. george the visit of paula is a tradition. I make it a point to visit paula when I am in town.
The tejas nanchos were amazing and enough to eat for several people. the staff was even better, so friendly
He began to come here in 1980 when at the other end of the city is located directly before the carbahn exit blvd. the food has the same offer a great value and authentic dishes. always loved the fried beans and chili rellenos. the Enchilada sauce is homemade and paula’s own recipe. it's really great, like the salsa. it's a fun place.
We went to paulas with a bad expectation that was disappointed in several places. they had another chance and we saw a great improvement. salsa could use some improvement. our eating was good and plentiful and it seemed much cleaner.
This use to be our go to Mexican place in St. George. We used to buy the salsa and take it home. They are not that place any more. Our waitress was nice, but the food has gone downhill. The food is ok and the salsa tastes different. This would be a last resort now. I say…. find another place.
