Golden Harvest - St. Helena

We picked up on Mother's Day, we ordered extra for the rest that never happened, and the man was disgusting to us. we like spicy food, but everything was slandered and stuffed. the chow my noodles were white! no sweet in our rice or noodles, and the hawn was so bad, fat and nasty! I tried to reach and wrote an email to the business just to let them know that eating was terrible (if I had a owner of a restaurant I wanted to know), and from rough I got no response back. Don't eat here, they're getting sick! Don't waste your money!

I'm Chinese and had my wedding in Yountville. I did not have a formal rehearsal dinner as we held a Welcome Reception lunch the day before our wedding since it was a destination wedding. However, because I had so many Chinese relatives in town, most of whom prefer to eat Chinese food, I figured they would enjoy eating at a Chinese restaurant. However, there are very limited options for Chinese food within the Napa area. Although Golden Harvest doesn't really look like much from the exterior and doesn't look a whole lot better from the interior, the food was actually surprisingly good. My family and I were all actually quite pleased, and that's saying a lot. The food also came out quickly and the service was great.

We've been to Golden harvest quite a few times this past year and the food has been excellent. Unfortunately, this was not the case with our latest visit. We were there during the lunch hour so we ordered the broccoli beef and the chicken delight lunch plates. The broccoli beef was too salty. The Chicken Delight was anything but delightful. The 4 or so Small pieces of chicken were tough and looked very unappetizing. Both plates were swimming in their respective sauces. But...Because we'd had such good experiences before, we didn't hesitate to take a bite even though the food didn't look as good as usual- but that was a mistake.

Delicious food with lots of great flavors and spice. Family friendly and casual. Also great cocktails and beer and wine.

I grew up in Napa and Golden Harvest is the place to go for authentic Chinese food. The staff is very well educated on gluten free and vegan options. My favorite is the vegetable chow fun and the ma po tofu. My favorite appetizer is the green onion pancakes. There are many items they can make vegan like the fried rice, sizzling rice soup, and chicken dishes can be substituted for tofu. A must try if you're in the valley!
