Rainford Supper - St. Helens

That has been the best Chinese takeaway in the whole st. helens area of my mind for years. in recent years it has really changed for the worse, eating is so salty and probably full of msg. the only way to describe it is that...standards are really good to be down, which is a shame for all.

Since the move to rainford you regularly visit the evening bar. eating is always excellent, service always before place and prices always reasonable. will remain a loyal customer.

As a regular customer, I find that food quality is quite variable. buy them only huh, fried rice and chips. the chips were heated again and there very hard and insensitive. I notice that stars at the door for food hygiene are nowhere to be seen!

As regular customers for more than 20 years we accept that occasional errors are made, so if we found in our previous visit the pancakes and hoi sin sauce dor our crispy escape to lack from our order, it was no real causal for...careed . we just called and let them know and they promised to replace the court for free at our next visit. fast forward to today and my youngest daughter asked Chinese for her birthday tee. seeking 17 miles round trip to rainford. at my arrival I mentioned the agreement they had made to replace the crispy duck. sure enough that a note was specified in addition to the confirmation of the agreement. However, the server was to point out that they would only replace the sauce, early onshore and gurken article that had been missed, not the escape. I asked what this would be, and she said that we should have frozen the escape from our last visit and have defrosted them today to use the replacement sunbeds. she offered generously to replace the pancakes. I felt that this was not quite reasonable and suggested as a good willingness, they should be the whole court at a price of £8.30 dinge then annoyingly turned as the server accused me of being a thief trying to be free eating. as minister of a church I try not to be robbed of local businesses. I also pointed out that a conservative estimate would put my historical spending with them over £3000, so that they make a little willing of £8.30, was not at all exaggerated. I also spoke to the wind. they have buried. no compensatory escape. and so, after 20 years it is with great sadness that I departed from the workers of rainford dinner bar.

Top quality Chinese takeaways at a good price , used regularly over 16 years and never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the service received. Very disappointed withTrip Adviser picking out one bad report And focusing on that . Would be happy...to recommend to anyone in the area.
